This bed has found a home in New Brunswick overlooking a beautiful lake! The bed is a beautiful rendition of a shaker bed with an exotic twist. The bed posts are inlaid with a birds eye maple taper on all exposed sides of the posts.
The main wood in the bed is cherry. It is finished with ten coats of lacquer and then hand rubbed and paste waxed. The finish feels like silk to the touch.
